Artist Statement
My artwork has always been an outlet for my emotions, whether expressing my joy or releasing my pain. When I paint, I seem to experience a lapse in time. From paintings of my children or loved ones, to paintings of places I've been or I'd love to go, painting gives me a great freedom and a sense of escape from reality.
